Social networking website facebook claims to have over 250 million active users, over 120 million daily users

Facebook, a US-based social networking site which was founded in February 2004, claims to have over 250 million active users, out of which more than 120 million users log on to Facebook.com at least once a day.

In April 2009, Facebook had announced to have crossed the mark of 200 million active users. According to Facebook, about 70 per cent of its users access the site from outside the United States and more than 30 million active users access Facebook through their mobile devices.
